Synopsis

A few years before William Shatner would be forever identified with Captain Kirk of Star Trek fame, he appeared here as Peter Gifford, a liberal-minded schoolteacher who is suspended because of allowing discussions on sexual behavior in class. The problems start when his class, unable to get much information out of their parents on sexual morés, turns to Mr. Gifford for help. The students write papers and the class discussion centers around how far the teens should go in sexual contact. When the parents get wind of the class, Gifford is suspended and the battle to reinstate him is on. This was the first feature-length film for TV director Buzz Kulik.
