Synopsis

Writer Maya Gallo gets a cold reception from her new co-workers when she goes to work for her father, Jack, at his magazine Blush after losing her job in the TV industry. It doesn't help the situation when Jack gives her a big, new office and showers her with gifts upon arrival. Former model Nina tries to get photographer Elliot and assistant Finch to confront Jack about the apparent nepotism. With her father in China, Maya gets to put an issue together for the first time, but Jack doesn't like all of her changes. Finch resists being celebrated on Secretary's Day because he doesn't consider himself to be a secretary. Finch creates a new employee manual for the staff.
